JOB TITLE KS1 Primary Teacher (Manchester)

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to work in a supportive and welcoming Primary School in Manchester. The role is to start after Easter and will be full-time and long-term, running until at least July 2025, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop in a school with a strong leadership team and a commitment to staff development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum, maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour, and working closely with support staff and parents.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS

Location Manchester

Position KS1 Primary Teacher

Type of work Class Teacher (planning, preparation, assessment, parents’ evenings etc.)

Start date After Easter (April 2025)

Duration / Likely Duration Until July 2025 (potential to extend)

Contract type Long Term

Full time/part time Full Time

Minimum rate of pay GBP140+ per day (Paid to scale)

Hours 8:00am 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Essential

Experience teaching in KS1 in a UK Primary School Preferred

Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum

Up to date Safeguarding training (can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child-related references
