Prospero Teaching are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a fantastic school in Southampton. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support learning activities, lead small group sessions, and contribute to the overall development of all students.

As a HLTA, you will:

• • • Lead small group interventions and support individual students.
    • Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress.
    • Provide cover for teachers during short-term absences.
    • Support the development of student’s social and emotional skills.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About you:

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working as a HLTA or in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.

  Essential & Desirable Qualifications/ requirements:

• • HLTA status- ESSENTIAL
  • Experience working as a HLTA- DESIRABLE

• To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references upon request
  • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
