HLTA – Wigan:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a HLTA to work in a lovely school near to Wigan, covering the teacher while they are on PPA. You will need excellent curriculum knowledge of both core and foundation subjects.

Position Details;

• Location: Wigan
• Position: HLTA
• Hours: 8am-3:30pm
• Minimum rate of pay: £125 per day, depending on experience
• Type of work: Temporary
• Full time/part time: Full time only
• Start date: December 2024
• End date: Ongoing

Role Responsibilities:

• Covering both core and foundation subjects while teachers are on PPA
• Building rapport with parents and other staff members
• Communicating with staff members to track progress

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
• Team Teach qualification would be highly desired
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification would be highly desirable

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
