General Teaching Assistant

General Early Years and KS1 Teaching Assistant | Barnes (Richmond, London) | ASAP start

Must have experience working in a UK classroom setting

A friendly Primary School based in Barnes are looking for a dynamic, kind, and hard-working experienced Teaching Assistant to join their ever-growing team from immediate start. You will be working full time but working on the Primary School hours – 8:30am – 3:40pm for five days a week. There will be no special needs pupils to support, just general duties.

The successful applicants will have:

• Experience working with EYFS/KS1 primary aged children
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents/careers
• Excellent literacy, numeracy & ICT skills
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold an enhanced child, child & adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
• In-house Training and Development Team
