GCSE tutor with SEN experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, tailored one-to-one tutoring sessions in GCSE English and Maths
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Assess the student’s current level and personalise lessons accordingly
• Support exam preparation, including revision techniques and past paper practice
• Provide regular feedback on progress and areas for improvement

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum in English and Maths
• Proven experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience (preferred)
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and build student confidence
• Patient, adaptable, and understanding approach
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. degree, QTS, or equivalent) desirable
