The Role:

  • Deliver one-to-one or small group GCSE tuition (subjects based on your specialism)

  • Work with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

  • Adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs

  • Build positive, supportive relationships to encourage engagement and confidence

  • Provide regular feedback on progress to parents, schools, or other professionals

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience tutoring or teaching GCSE-level subjects

  • Proven experience working with students with SEN

  • Strong behaviour management and engagement skills

  • Patient, flexible, and empathetic approach to teaching

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or relevant tutoring experience is desirable
