GCSE tutor with SEN experience

The Role:

• Deliver personalised 1:1 GCSE tuition (English, Maths, or Science) to students with SEN

• Adapt lesson plans to meet individual learning needs, EHCP targets, and exam specifications

• Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and other additional needs

• Prepare students for GCSE examinations with structured revision and exam practice

• Track progress and provide regular feedback

Requirements:

• Proven experience tutoring GCSE subjects

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN

• QTS, PGCE, degree-level qualification, or significant relevant tutoring experience

• Strong subject knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and exam boards

• Excellent behaviour management skills and a patient, empathetic approach

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

• Right to work in the UK
