GCSE tutor

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and personalised GCSE tuition sessions.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
• Support students with academic progress, confidence, and motivation.
• Monitor and report on student progress.
• Foster positive and supportive learning environments.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students.
• Strong subject knowledge in one or more GCSE subjects.
• Experience working with vulnerable children, young people, or those with additional needs.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach.

Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Relevant teaching, tutoring, or educational experience.
• Ability to travel within Islington for face-to-face tuition where required.
