Job Title: GCSE Science Tutor
Location: Welling, London
Contract Type: Temporary, Flexible, Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, structured, and effective tuition in GCSE Science, ensuring students gain a thorough understanding of key concepts across Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
• Develop and implement personalised lesson plans tailored to meet each student’s unique learning needs, abilities and academic goals.
• Provide constructive feedback and clear guidance to enhance student’s comprehension and exam preparation.
• Use diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, including support SEN students where necessary.
• Foster a positive and motivating learning environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience in GCSE Science.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.

Desired:

• PGCE in Secondary Science and/or QTS status
• Experience with SEND.
