Food Technology Teacher – North Manchester – ASAP start

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Food Technology Teacher to work in a large, over subscribed school in North Manchester on a full-time basis from as soon as possible until they break for summer in July. It is essential that you are a Qualified Teacher and that you are qualified to teach food technology to key stage 3 & 4 pupils.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location – North Manchester

Position – Food Technology Teacher

Start date – ASAP

End date – July 2023

Duration – 5 months

Full time

Minimum rate of pay – £140 per day

Hours – 8:20 am – 4:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, GTP, SCITT or equivalent

Previous experience teaching Food Technology in a UK school

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training)

Up to date prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, we can provide training)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide a minimum of two professional child related references
