Job description

KS3/4 Food Technology teacher

FULL TIME, UNTIL APRIL 2025

Prospero Teaching is looking for Food Technology teacher for a Secondary School in the Bury LA. This position is to cover the absence of the current post holder. You will be responsible for teaching Food Technology across Years 7 to 11, and other DT subjects at Year 7 and 8 on a carousel basis. The department is settled and welcoming and produces strong results year on year. The Head of Department has been in post several years and consistently produces outstanding schemes of work.

The school is a mainstream Secondary School with a supportive cover team and teaching staff. Accessible to both the M60 and M66 in Bury, our school has superb Food rooms and the department has been heavily invested in over the last few years.

The position is open to NQT’s/ECT’s and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.
