Female PE Teacher – Manchester
Location: Manchester
Start Date: September 2025 | End Date: July 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
Daily Rate: GBP166.50 – GBP258.75 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:15am – 4:00pm, plus occasional parents evenings and department meetings
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Female PE Teacher to join a thriving and supportive secondary school in Manchester. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025 and continuing until the end of the academic year in July 2026.
This role offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, and would suit a dynamic, enthusiastic PE specialist with a genuine passion for sport and physical education.

About You:
Youre a qualified PE Teacher (QTS, QTLS or equivalent)
You have at least 1 year of PE teaching experience in a UK secondary school
You can inspire and engage students in a wide range of physical activities
Experience running a school sports team is highly desirable
You are a confident classroom leader with excellent behaviour management skills
You are female (due to the requirement to deliver PE lessons to female student groups)

Requirements:
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
· Hold the Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one
· Provide two professional references (child-related)
· Have up-to-date training in Safeguarding, Prevent, FGM, and Behaviour Management (training can be provided)
