Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sustainability programs tailored for schools, promoting eco-friendly practices within the educational community

• Lead initiatives to reduce waste, energy consumption, and carbon footprint across multiple school sites

• Work closely with staff, students, and parents to raise awareness and encourage sustainable behaviours

• Conduct environmental audits and help schools meet sustainability standards and targets

• Monitor and report on environmental performance, providing regular updates and recommendations for improvement

• Stay informed about the latest environmental policies, trends, and educational sustainability strategies

• Collaborate with local authorities and community groups to support wider environmental goals

Requirements:

• A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field

• Proven experience in environmental management, sustainability, or similar roles-ideally within educational settings

• Knowledge of sustainability regulations, green certifications, and eco-school initiatives

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students and staff

• A proactive approach, with excellent project management and problem-solving abilities
