English Tutor – Barnet (After School/weekends)

We are looking for qualified English Tutors to join our team in Barnet, delivering high-quality after-school tuition to primary and secondary students.

Role details:

• After-school tutoring (weekday afternoons/evenings/weekends)
• One-to-one or small group sessions
• Supporting students with reading, writing, grammar, and exam preparation, filling in gaps in the learning
• Building confidence in English language and literature
• In-person sessions in the Barnet area

Pay:

• £25-£30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent)
• Proven experience tutoring or teaching English
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to explain concepts clearly
• Reliable, professional, and committed to student progress
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
