English Tutor – Manchester – September 2025 Start
Location: Manchester
Hours: Mon-Thurs: 8:00am-4:00pm | Fri: 11:00am-4:00pm
Pay: £95-£110 per day (DOE)
Contract: Part-time, September to December (with potential to extend)
Prospero Teaching is proud to be working with a committed and passionate Headteacher in Manchester who is seeking an English Tutor to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to students learning and confidence in English.
Working within the English faculty, you’ll be supporting GCSE students both in the classroom and on a one-to-one basis. The role suits someone with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
About the Role:
Deliver tutoring across Key Stages 3 and 4
Support GCSE students with reading, writing, and exam preparation
Create a positive and engaging learning environment
Promote confidence and progress in English
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A degree in English
A passion for English language and literature
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training (or willingness to complete free training with us)
