English Teacher – Southampton

Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher for a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated Secondary School located on the outskirts of Southampton.

This role is for a full time position starting in November on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location: Southampton, Hampshire
• Position: English Teacher
• Start date: November 2022 (ASAP)
• Duration / Likely Duration: Temp/Perm
• Full time/part time: Full time
• Minimum rate of pay:£125 per day
• Hours – 8:00AM – 4:00PM

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential) English Teaching experience desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional references
