Prospero Teaching are recruiting a dedicated English Teacher for an inspiring Independent SEN School dedicated to supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), focusing on a specialised approach to education.

Based in Poole the school is committed to providing a tailored education curriculum to meet the unique needs of its students. This is a supportive and inclusive environment where staff are empowered to develop professionally and make a meaningful impact.
The role involves working predominantly with key stages 3 and 4, with a focus on delivering a creative and adaptive English curriculum

The position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

  • Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate GBP30,000
  • Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm, plus parents evenings and meetings as required

Experience, Training And Qualifications:

  • QTS, QTLS or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 Year English Teacher
  • Experience with SEN (desirable)
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

To Be Eligible For This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
