EHCP Coordinator

As an EHCP Writer, you will play a crucial role in drafting and reviewing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring they are clear, accurate, and fully compliant with statutory guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and update high-quality EHCPs in line with the SEND Code of Practice.

• Liaise with parents, schools, health and social care professionals to gather and integrate information.

• Ensure outcomes and provisions are specific, measurable, and tailored to each child’s needs.

• Maintain accurate records and work to statutory timescales.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.
• Previous experience writing or coordinating EHCPs within a local authority or education setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively and meet deadlines.
• Right to work in the UK.

Desired:

• Experience in a SEND Case officer, coordinator role.
