Are you passionate about supporting young children with Autism and additional needs? Prospero Teaching are looking for SEN Teaching Assistant that would like to join our dedicated team at a specialist early years provision, designed to nurture and develop students aged 3-8 years in a supportive and engaging environment.
About the Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Specialist Early Years Teaching Assistants to support children in small class groups (6-8 students). Our provision offers:
✅ Autism-Specific (ASC) environments
✅ High staff-to-student ratios
✅ A well-equipped soft play area
✅ Large outdoor spaces and a sensory garden
✅ A multi-purpose shared space for PE, training, and meetings
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with Autism or additional needs (preferred)
- A patient, positive and proactive approach
- A commitment to inclusive education and child development
- Strong communication and Teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored support for children with Autism and other additional needs
- Assisting in the delivery of engaging and structured learning activities
- Supporting students in their personal and social development
- Collaborating with teachers and therapists to create a nurturing environment
