Are you an ECT or NQT who is looking to embark on their first education based role? If so, then Prospero Teaching are the choice for you! Although agency work may not spring to mind initially, it offers developing teachers the opportunity to work in a variety of environments and see you enjoy, and help you broaden your knowledge further. Our work spans from EYFS, to Key Stage 2, to dedicated SEN support – we know we’ll have something for you!

You can utilise our expansive network of schools to help you develop and set yourself up for a long and successful career as a teacher. with our dedicated support, you will be embarking on short-term and long-term assignments in local schools, supporting them in delivering the UK curriculum to pupils.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Bristol – various locations

Position: Early Career Teacher (ECT/NQT)

Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for an assigned class, management of class, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils, deliver UK curriculum across EYFS, KS1 or KS2,

Start Date: Immediate (as per clearance)

Rate of pay : £110 – £135 per day (as per assignment)

Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

EXPERIENCE

Essential:

*Qualified Teacher Status

Desirable:

*Experience of inclusive classroom practice

*An understanding of the transition process between key stages

*Ability to adapt and build positive relationships with a variety of pupils

*Previous experience of teaching reading using a range of strategies, including synthetic phonics.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

*Hold right to work in the UK

*Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

*Provide two professional child related references
