Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a tutor to provide support with English, Science and Math tuition.

About the role:

We are currently providing support students in the Harrow area. We are looking specifically tutors to support with English, Science and Math studies. We require someone with some general SEN knowledge with experience supporting similar needs and managing behaviour.

Support will take place at the school in Harrow. Support is required 4-10 hours each week which will take place in 2-hour time slots from Monday through to Friday during school hours (8am – 4pm).

ROLE DETAILS:

Hours per week: 4 to 10 hours

Timetable: 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday (during school hours, 8AM – 4PM)

Duration of booking: ongoing

Location: Harrow

Pay: From £25 per hour

Age group: various ages

Other: QTS IS A MUST

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the Tutor:

• Teaching, tutoring, or learning support experience as a minimum
• General knowledge working with individuals with a variety of SEND
• Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
• Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils

To be eligible for this role, the potential SEND Specialist Tutor must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references.
• QTS IS ESSENTIAL
