D&T Technician

Are you an experienced DT Technician looking for a role to start immediately?

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a Full Time DT Technician to work full time in a St Helens secondary school.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS:

• Design Technology Technician
• Preparing materials, tools and equipment for practical lessons
• Ensuring safety and maintenance of workshop equipment
• Assisting students with their projects, offering guidance and technical support
• Collaborating with teaching staff
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Background in Design Technology or related field
• Technical proficiency in a range of design and engineering tools and equipment
• Strong communication skills
• Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
• Full and complete career history
• Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Legal right to work in the UK

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
