Design and Technology teacher – Trafford – January

Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and dedicated teacher of Design and Technology to join a school in Trafford from January on a full time basis until the end of the current academic year in July. It is essential that you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching in the Design and Technology department at a secondary school in the UK.

The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management. You will also need to be available to attend parents evenings, and departmental meetings as and when required.

Minimum rate of pay GBP162.31 per day

Hours 8:30AM 4PM

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent

Previous experience working in a UK school

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)

Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)

Up to date FGM & behaviour management training (essential, training can be provided)

Design and Technology teaching experience in the UK

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one

Provide a minimum of two professional references
