About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Classroom Management: Oversee students, maintain discipline, and ensure a calm learning environment.
• Following Lesson Plans: Implement the work set by the absent teacher, making sure students are working on the tasks assigned.
• Providing Support: Assist students with understanding the tasks, but not to the extent of teaching new concepts.
• Ensuring Safety: Ensure a safe environment, handling minor behavioural issues and reporting any significant problems to senior staff.
• Administrative Tasks: Mark attendance, distribute materials, and complete any necessary documentation related to the lesson.

Requirements for a Cover Supervisor:

• Strong organizational skills.
• Classroom management abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and adaptability.
• Strong Behavioural management.
