Pay Rate: £90 to £115 – Per day

Cover Supervisors are suitably-trained school staff who are able to take some of the responsibility of the full-time class teacher in their absence.

This includes acting as a role model and authority figure in absence of the Teacher, keeping the register, liaising with other members of staff if there are any issue and managing the behaviour of students while the complete work set out by absent teacher.

A Cover Supervisor is not a Teacher and isn’t expected to teach students, however you may be asked to carrying out pre-prepared exercises.

Minimum rate of pay– £90 – £115 per day dependant on experience

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree – Essential
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS COVER SUPERVISOR ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
