Part-Time Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (DN14 Area, Scunthorpe)

Are you passionate about education and looking to make a real difference in the classroom? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment, supporting students in their learning? If so, we have the perfect role for you!

We are a leading education recruitment agency, currently seeking Part-Time Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across the DN14 area, Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team of dedicated professionals, providing vital support to local schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in the absence of regular teaching staff, ensuring that lesson plans are followed and classroom discipline is maintained.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with their work and offer assistance where needed.
  • Report any concerns or issues to senior staff in line with school policies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • A DBS check on the update service or willingness to undergo one.
