Childrens Support Worker (Education)

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for experienced Children’s support workers to work at a school & college that supports Children and young adults who have complex learning difficulties and medical needs.

Role Description –

• These active roles will involve providing daily care and support for our children and young people including: personal care needs, mobility, daily routine support, learning, leisure activities and promoting communication and independence skills
• Challenging behaviours will present in these roles, so to fully support our young people, candidates should be comfortable working in this type of environment (full training is provided)

• Assist in the daily duties of running the school (paperwork, record keeping etc.)

All candidates will be subject to a full registration process with Prospero Teaching which will involve full vetting. Ideally you will already have a Child & Adult DBS on the update service but if not, we can process a new one at the cost to yourself of £45.80.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
