Business & computer science teacher – Full time – ASAP

A full time business studies and computer science teacher is required at a secondary school close in Manchester, to start as soon as possible until at least Easter, but probably until they break for summer in July.

This will be a full-time role, working 5 days a week teaching key stage 3 & 4 business studies classes (0.6) and key stage 3 computer science (0.4). The role will be initially until Easter but will likely continue until July 2023.

The successful candidate will need to have recent experience delivering the Business Studies & the new computer science curriculum and will be fully qualified, have a degree related to Business Studies or Computing and sound knowledge of the National Curriculum.

The Business Studies department follow the Edexcel syllabus

You will be delivering a range of subjects including Sources of finance, Consumer law, e-commerce on business activity, Production processes and much more.

HUMANITIES TEACHER EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold a BA and PGCE in Business Studies & Computer Science
• Confident with teaching KS 3 & 4
• Innovative and creative teaching strategies and lessons
• Aim to strive towards good and outstanding standards
• ICT capable with interactive whiteboards etc.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS BUSINESS STUDIES TEACHING ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING:

• UK classroom teaching experience teaching Business Studies & Economics
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 professional references
• A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
