Behaviour Mentor

They deliver a flexible and engaging curriculum across Primary. KS3 and ks4, tailored to each students individual needs and interests.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students to develop positive behaviour for learning, emotional regulation, and social skills. Working closely with key workers, phase leaders, teaching staff, and families, you’ll provide one-to-one mentoring and group support that empowers students to overcome barriers and reach their potential.

• Position – SEN TA
• Contract or position start date – ASAP and September Starts
• Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temporary – Permanent
• Full time/part time – Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – £13.96 per hour

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with young people with SEMH needs, behavioural difficulties
• Demonstrates resilience and empathy
• Is confident managing behaviour in a calm, non-confrontational manner
• Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Experience, Training:

• 6 months experience in the UK
• DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
