Attendance Officer – Sheffield

Job Title: Attendance Officer

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £105 – £125 per day

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Attendance Officer to join an AP in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and improving student attendance, making home visits, and promoting a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and record student attendance
Identify and address patterns of non-attendance
Make home visits to improve student attendance
Work closely with families, carers, and external agencies
Maintain accurate attendance records and reports
Implement strategies to improve overall attendance rates

Requirements:

Previous experience as an Attendance Officer or a similar role
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation
Valid driving license and access to a car
Business insurance for car
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
