We are working with a highly regarded secondary school in Stansted, known for its commitment to nurturing creativity and academic excellence. The Role:
Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Art Teacher to join their vibrant and supportive department this September. This is a full-time position, with the successful candidate responsible for delivering engaging Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK Art curriculum, a creative teaching approach, and the ability to inspire students to reach their full artistic potential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons across various year groups.
· Inspire students to develop their creative skills and artistic expression.
· Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment.
· Assess, track, and report student progress in line with school policies.
· Participate in department meetings and school-wide events.
· Support students in their personal and academic development.
Requirements:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
· A relevant degree in Art or a related field.
· Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
· A creative and dynamic approach to teaching.
· Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
· Passionate about fostering creativity in young learners.
· Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this).
