1:1 Vocational Tutor – Sheffield

Are you a responsible individual with Tutoring/Teaching experience? Prospero Teaching are looking for a 1:1 Vocational Tutor to support a Year 9 student in Sheffield ASAP.

As a 1:1 Vocational Tutor you would be required to, support/deliver high quality teaching materials and lessons to accelerate student progression, assess student work and, monitor progress.

We provide tutors to alternative and mainstream education settings throughout Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster that support children and young adults with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, Asperger’s, MLD, and challenging behaviours.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location -Sheffield
• Position – 1:1 Vocational Tutor
• Start date – ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing
• End date (if applicable) – N/A
• Contract type – Long Term
• Full time/part-time – Full Time
• The minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £120
• Hours – 8:00am – 4:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
