1:1 Tutor – Wirral Based

The Opportunity

Prospero are on the lookout for enthusiastic and experienced 1:1 Tutor’s to inspire and support students from KS1 to KS4 across both core and wider national curriculum subjects.

As a 1:1 Tutor, you’ll deliver engaging, personalised sessions that ignite students’ confidence, close knowledge gaps, and empower them to reach their full potential. With a focus on individual needs. Due to the nature of the role of a 1:1 Tutor, applicants must have a background and strong understanding of SEN.

Position details:

• Location – Wirral
• Position – 1:1 Tutor
• Start date – ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration – dependent on each student
• End date – Ongoing
• Contract type – Temporary
• Full time/part time – Part time and full time depending on availability
• Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate of 25 per hour
• Hours – Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

• QTS or equivalent
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
• UK classroom teaching experience
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references.
