The Opportunity We are currently providing support to a young person in the Romford area that is not currently able to access mainstream education. We are looking specifically for a SEND specialist to support a primary-aged child with play-based learning. The student has severe learning disabilities and autism, therefore, we require a SEN specialist with experience supporting similar needs and managing behaviour. Support will take place at the students home in Romford. The young person requires 10 hours of support each week which will take place in 2 hour timeslots from Monday through to Friday. Experience, Training and Qualifications of the SEND Specialist Tutor: · Teaching, tutoring, or learning support experience as a minimum · Strong experience working with individuals with a variety of SEND · Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box · Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
