Attention all education professionals!

Prospero Teaching is currently looking for talented and dedicated 1:1 Outreach Tutors to join our team and support children in care across Hampshire.

As a tutor, you’ll be responsible for offering a range of support to students, from a few hours to multiple sessions per week. You’ll also be required to complete weekly feedback forms, tracking the student’s progress, achievements, and overall development.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location – Hampshire
  • Position – Tutor
  • Subject – Core Subjects / Functional skills / life skills
  • Start date – ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing
  • End date (if applicable) –
  • Full time/part-time – Part-time
  • The minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £25 per hour
  • Hours – flexible

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references

Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy. The successful candidate will be required to register with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy. Ideally, you will already have a full DBS on the update service but if not, we can process a new one.
