Prospero Teaching is looking for a 1:1 Mentor to support a young person at his school.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Mentor who has experience working with students with social emotional health. The role will be supporting a young person in class where appropriate as well as outside of class.

Contract/Position Details:

• Location – At a Secondary school
• Position – 1:1 Mentor
• Type of work – Contract
• Start date – ASAP
• Duration – Ongoing
• End date (if applicable) – Ongoing
• Contract type – Temporary
• Full-time/part-time – Full time (5 days a week)
• Minimum rate of pay – £90 Daily
• Hours – 8.40am – 15.30pm

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 Mentor

• Possess UK classroom TA Experience
• Experience working as a Mentor
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
• Have experience working with student who have SEMH

To be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Primary Outreach Tutor must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references.
