Pay Rate: £90-£110 per day, dependant on the pay scale.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary School Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Cheltenham area. Whether you’re an experienced TA or just starting your career in education, this role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support to teachers, assisting in the delivery of lessons.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs, if required.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement learning materials.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to work with secondary school students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is an advantage but not essential.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills in an educational setting.
