Prospero Teaching are seeking Supply Teachers to work on a Day-to-Day basis in a variety of Schools in Rickmansworth and throughout Hertfordshire.

For those who aren’t qualified, Supply Teachers are essentially teachers who are able to take on some of the responsibility of the full-time class teacher in the case of the full-time class teacher being absent.

This includes acting as a role model and authority figure in absence of the Teacher, keeping the register, liaising with other members of staff if there are any issue and managing the behaviour of students while they complete work set out by absent teacher.

An Unqualified Supply Teacher is not Teacher and isn’t expected to teach students but if you can assist in a chosen specialism, it’s defiantly a bonus.

• Unqualified: £90

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree – Essential
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS Unqualified Supply Teacher ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
