This fantastic opportunity has arisen in this exceptional primary school that offers a wealth of creativity and imagination to it’s pupils.  Based in Crawley, West Sussex, this school is easily accessible and offers some on site car parking.  In 2019 it was awarded GOOD with Outstanding features from Ofsted, thanks to it’s impressive leadership and in particular it’s commitment to increasing attainment in both Numeracy & Literacy.

You’ll be working within the KS2 team, with a class of enthusiastic pupils.  This school offers an inclusive environment for pupils to learn and for teachers to thrive.

Supply Teacher Contract/Position Details

Location – Crawley, West Sussex

Position – Supply Primary Teacher (KS1)

Type of work – Class teaching, marking, assessment where applicable

Start date – October 2022

Likely Duration – 3 terms

Minimum rate of pay – £125 Per day

Hours – 8:20am-4pm (term time only)

Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications

It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a Primary School

You will need to have taught in primary either in a permanent or supply cover role, or on teaching placement if you are an NQT.

Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.

To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;

Hold the Right to Work in the UK.

Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.

Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

Provide two professional child related references.
