Early Years SEN Teaching Assistants Needed

Prospero are working with many schools requiring SEN EYFS TA’s for September across south Yorkshire.

The children have various types and severity of SEN, including autism and ADHD.

The children have high energy levels so the right candidate would be expected to keep up with this.

You will also be expected to ensure that the child is making sound academic and personal development and growth.

These types of roles offer a unique opportunity to make a real difference to a child’s educational path through offering them 1:1 support to help them overcome any barriers that they may be facing to learning.

• Early Years (EYFS) SEN Teaching Assistant roles

• Various types and severity of SEN including autism (diagnosed and undiagnosed) and ADHD

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

– Previous SEN experience

– Previous experience with challenging behaviour

– Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)

– Team Teach training would be highly desirable for this role

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

– Hold Right to Work in the UK

– Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

– Provide two professional references
