Prospero Teaching is looking for Support Workers in the Kingsbury area starting immediately.

We are working with a special needs school and college work is actively seeking support workers to work with the students with a broad range of learning disabilities. Needs include and are not limited to:

Autism, Speech and Language needs, Behaviour Needs, Complex needs, Profound and multiple learning needs, wheelchair-bound students.

As a support worker, you will provide guidance, help with daily tasks, help with personal care and promote Independence, and sometimes administer medication or feeding.

Essential Criteria:

• Must have worked with adults with Learning Disabilities
• Must be able to commit to days a week
• Must be able to commit to 8.20 am – 3.45 pm

This is a state of the art, all through school in Kingsbury that education 3 – 19-year-olds as well as supporting parents, carers, and extended families. Class sizes are small, 3 – 5 students per class and often there is 1:1 support provided in the classroom.

Facilities are outstanding, the school is large, corridors are bright, classrooms are bright and all open up into an outside space. There is a shop, a café, and a swimming pool, a number of playgrounds, a garden, a sports hall and more.
