Are you an experienced SEND professional looking for a flexible tutoring opportunity? Prospero Teaching are recruiting across Anglesey!

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking Specialised SEND Tutors to provide tailored 1:1 educational support to children and young people.

The learners we support may have a range of additional needs and benefit from a highly individualised approach to education.

You’ll work at the learner’s pace, adapting your sessions to their interests, strengths and areas for development whilst helping them re-engage with education.

Position Details:

Location: Anglesey
Position: Specialised SEND Tutor
Hours: 5-15 hours per week
Start Date: September 2026
Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

Strong experience working with SEND learners
Teaching, tutoring or mentoring background
Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs
QTS or equivalent desirable
Creative and adaptable approach
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

To be eligible for this role, you must:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references
