Job Title: SEN Tutor (Salford)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Salford. The successful candidate will deliver one-to-one tutoring to students with a range of additional needs, helping to bridge learning gaps and boost their academic confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-to-one lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
Adapt lesson content and pace to support different learning styles and educational needs.
Build strong, trusting relationships with students to create a supportive and safe learning environment.
Support students in developing subject knowledge, confidence, and engagement with learning.
Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to parents, carers, schools, or professionals as necessary.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring.
Experience working with learners with SEN, either in a one-to-one or small group setting.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
Desirable Qualifications:
PGCE and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with students who have Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs.

Other Information:

The successful candidate will be required to pass safeguarding and vetting checks prior to starting. All staff working with children and vulnerable young people have a responsibility for safeguarding their welfare.
