Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an ambitious, enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work at an OFSTED graded Good SEN primary school in Mitcham. The school is extremely supportive and forward thinking and benefits from on-site parking as well as great public transport links.

• You will support the class teacher alongside one other TA
• Average class size of 6
• You must have strong behaviour management skills.
• You will need to have the ability to build a positive relationship with students and staff.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS:
* Location – Mitcham.
* Position – SEN Teaching Assistant
* Start date – September 2022 or sooner
* Full time/part time – Full time
* The minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate of £70 per day
* Hours – 8:30 – 15:45

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

– Previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH or ASD is highly desirable, as is Team Teach or MAPA training
– Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

– Hold Right to Work in the UK
– Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
– Provide two professional references
