Maths Teacher Required

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Ashford, Surrey from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to work in a supportive school with excellent leadership and a strong commitment to student achievement.

The Role

  • Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
  • Monitor and assess student progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A passion for raising student attainment and achievement.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Able to provide two recent professional references.
