Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Cambridge from September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs within a mainstream classroom environment.
The school is looking for a patient, proactive, and compassionate practitioner who can build strong relationships with pupils and help create an inclusive learning experience.
Location – Cambridge
Position – SEN Teaching Assistant
Type of work – SEN support within a mainstream primary school
Start date – September
Duration – Ongoing / Longāterm
Full time/partātime – Full time (Monday to Friday)
Minimum rate of pay – Ā£95-Ā£110 per day
Experience supporting children with SEND in a UK mainstream school (desirable)
Understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties
Relevant SEN or TA training beneficial
Upātoādate Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced childābarred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional childārelated references
