SEN TA Autism

Prospero Teaching are working closely with an SEND school in Failsworth, the school provide Education to pupils with Autism at Primary and Secondary age. The site is based in Failsworth, Oldham and is easily accessed by road and public transport links and offers free parking on site.

The Role will consist of:

• Providing tailored support and working 121 with Autism
• Experience of working with students with high need Autism
• Experience of mental health and behaviours that challenge
• Creating a safe environment that allows students have fun, learn and succeed
• Academic support- ICT pathways

The Ideal candidate:

• Experience of supporting pupils with complex behaviours voluntary or paid basis OR/ experience of supporting those with complex behaviour needs in a school or care setting
• Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education and complex needs

Position Details:

• LOCATION – Failsworth
• POSITION – TA with Autism
• CONTRACT TYPE – Temporary ongoing
• HOURS – Full time Monday – Friday 8.30am -4pm
• START DATE – September 2022

– Team Teach training would be highly desirable for this role

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

– Hold Right to Work in the UK
– Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
– Provide two professional references
