About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Biology Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Bury area. This is a full-time position starting on 9th July, teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (Year 7 to Year 10).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Biology lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach students across Years 7 to 10
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Biology or General Science at secondary level
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for science and student development
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
