A popular school located in Camden, London is interested in securing a Science teacher starting this September 2022.
This is a large, all girls secondary school with a mixed 6th form with an exceptional reputation. The school is a well-managed school graded Good with Outstanding features and the Science dept are seeking a part-time Science teacher to teach science as well as support the Newly Qualified teachers joining in September 2022.
This role would suit someone with experience.
All students study Science at GCSE level and AQA is followed. Students develop student mathematical confidence and enthusiasm, and which builds a strong foundation for the transition to further study in Science at Sixth Form, University, and beyond.
Sixth Form, we offer the AQA specification in Science.
All students study 3 sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and will be awarded two GCSEs in Combined Science or 3 separate GCSEs in each of the three subjects. The courses begin at the end of Year 9 and students are supported to develop strong revision skills to help them to retain and deepen their knowledge. All students follow a common course in Year 9 and Year 10 and final decisions about separate GCSE entry are made in Year 11.

THE SUCCESSFUL SCIENCE TEACHERWILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
• Exceptional degree and GCSEs
• UK classroom teaching experience
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
• A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
• Salary paid to scale – teachers’ pay scale MPS
