About the role:
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons, contribute to curriculum planning, and support students in developing strong scientific understanding and curiosity. You will work closely with a supportive team of teachers and technicians to maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour.
Were looking for a dedicated candidate to:
Deliver high science lessons that engage and challenge students
Plan and assess learning effectively in line with curriculum requirements
Create a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and scientific thinking
Support students progress through feedback, intervention, and differentiation
Work collaboratively with the science team to share best practice and resources
Uphold safeguarding and wellbeing standards at all times
Requirements The ideal candidate would have:
A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge in Science across Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
Experience teaching KS3/KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A commitment to professional development and reflective practice
A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
